The Opportunity

Based in our friendly Digital & Creative Industries team, you will inspire and guide our students through lessons and workshops across film, TV, radio, broadcasting, and digital design, supporting our learners from Level 2 through to higher education courses. You will help shape curriculum materials that reflect industry standards, giving our students both practical skills and theoretical knowledge. Your mentorship will enable our learners to develop confidence, grow their abilities, and prepare for careers in creative and digital industries.

You will collaborate closely with Course Leaders to review and enhance courses, introduce fresh teaching methods, and contribute to the ongoing success of the department. Your role will involve designing schemes of work, lesson plans, and innovative learning resources, while assessing student work and providing constructive feedback to help learners reach their full potential. You will also oversee student projects and organise events to showcase their achievements.

In this role, you will have access to industry-standard facilities, including a green screen visual effects studio, live TV and award-winning radio studios, and high-spec production equipment. You will be encouraged to bring real-world industry insights into the classroom, create engaging digital content, and build connections with media professionals to enhance the student learning experience.

This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic and creative learning environment where you can make a real difference to our students' lives.

About You

A teaching qualification, or a willingness to work towards one, is essential, and you will bring strong industry knowledge to the classroom.

You will enjoy mentoring our learners, helping them grow both technically and personally, and take pride in seeing them succeed. You are highly creative, adaptable, and digitally savvy, with proven experience working in a dynamic creative environment. Excellent communication and organisational skills will allow you to manage multiple projects and deadlines while collaborating effectively with colleagues, students, and industry partners.
