This role is for a permanent position working full time 36 hours per week to support branch operating hours.

Role Summary

We are recruiting for a Customer Consultant to work at our Newcastle Branch. The role involves engaging with customers to identify and meet their financial needs, providing information about savings, products and services, and delivering a friendly, professional experience. You will support customers face to face, virtually, and through outbound contact, ensuring our customers’ needs are central to everything you do.


Responsibilities

* Welcome customers warmly, creating a positive first interaction.
* Ask insightful questions to uncover customer needs and provide tailored solutions.
* Listen to each customer’s unique circumstances and offer personalized solutions.
* Proactively outreach to customers over the phone, discussing how we can support them.
* Maintain accurate customer records in our internal systems.
* Understand and adhere to policies, standards, and controls.


Qualifications

* Previous experience interacting with customers, in person or over the phone, in any sector.
* Ability to work well alongside others, with a ‘one-team’ mindset.
* Excellent time management, able to react fast and handle a wide variety of customers during busy periods.
* Desire and ability to adapt to business needs and priorities.
* Passion for delivering exceptional service and going above and beyond.
