Central Operations Lead (Options)
Salary: Up to £30,600 per annum (dependent on experience and qualifications, not pro‑ratio)
Location: Bolton, Hybrid – 2 office days per week
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday
About the Role
The Central Operations Lead links central services with operational sites across the Acorn and Options divisions. You work closely with your allocated division to support site leaders, manage operational compliance, coordinate new acquisitions, and drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
* Stakeholder Management – Conduct regular site visits, build relationships, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement.
* Central Directory – Ensure the central directory is up‑to‑date and published monthly.
* Integration & Onboarding – Support the integration of new acquisitions, including orientation, FAQs, SharePoint setup, and stakeholder engagement.
* Operational Compliance – Manage the flow of compliance information, maintain bulletin deadlines, and prompt sites for required actions.
* Performance Reporting – Analyse monthly dashboards, produce reports for the Head of Central Operations, and assist in dashboard design.
* Operational Support Projects – Coordinate system and process improvements, conduct site visits, and report outcomes.
What You'll Do
* Maintain proactive communication with central service leaders and site managers.
* Identify and report trends, issues, and potential improvement areas.
* Contribute to team strategy and performance through regular meetings and one‑on‑one sessions.
* Ensure clear communication of expectations and deliverables to all stakeholders.
Required Skills & Experience
* Stakeholder management experience with a focus on relationship building.
* Excellent customer service skills and the ability to deliver on commitments.
* Strong written and verbal communication, detail‑oriented.
* Ownership and initiative – take full ownership of your assigned division.
* Performance reporting experience with deadlines/KPIs.
* Continuous improvement mindset – provide regular feedback on service delivery.
* Time‑management and organisational skills with the flexibility to prioritise tasks.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Reach, and XD.
Working Environment
Flexible working: two days in the office, up to two remote days, and one 4‑day working week wellbeing day (subject to eligibility and workload).
