We have a large active community of volunteers supporting our services. This role is pivotal in supporting the volunteers with their activities. You will work with volunteers supporting within our Living Well services or our Patient & Family Support Team, ensuring they feel equipped and supported to facilitate support groups, provide 1:1 support, or deliver counselling to patients and families.
You will have supervisory responsibilities, ensuring volunteers are up to date with training and supported to undertake their activities safely and effectively. Working collaboratively with healthcare professionals, families, and external contacts, you will provide a professional and compassionate service. You will manage and coordinate support for your immediate team and wider Group teams.
Essential criteria
1. Create professional and accurate correspondence including letters, emails, and meeting agendas.
2. Support the preparation of reports, presentations, and internal communications.
3. Handle sensitive data in compliance with data protection regulations.
4. Update social media channels with approved content, respecting privacy and branding guidelines.
5. Ensure policy compliance and escalate matters when necessary.
6. Provide progress, case, and workload updates.
7. Maintain accurate records and manage relevant databases and trackers.
8. Work with your team to review processes and ensure policy-compliant, efficient service delivery.
