A great opportunity for a Chef de Partie to work in these evening role, the core hours are Monday to Friday 11.30am to 8pm there may be an odd weekend as required but this is mainly Monday to Friday.
You will assist with lunch service and then work with another chef for the evening service, you will prepare the meals in the afternoon ready for evening service, You will cater for between 130-150 meals on a daily basis.
In the evenings The Chef de Partie will work closely with an assistant to prepare a Hot Meat option and Hot Veg option as well as a couple of salads as well. You will need good orgainsational skills to make sure you have all food ready for service on time.
We are looking for a chef ideally with Contract Catering Experience but other experience can be considered. You will be in charge of the service so have the chance to assist on menus and use whatever produce you require. You will prepare all the dishes and then ensure all is closed down correctly with the assistant who will support on this.
You will report into an Exec Chef but very much be working independently so you will need to be comfortable with this set up. We are looking for a chef de partie that can demonstrate good stability in previous roles with some length of time in each role.
