As a Real Estate Project Director within Essendi, you will contribute to cross-functional initiatives and lead renovation and construction projects across all brands in Western and Central Europe. As a member of the Essendi Asset Management Team, you will provide comprehensive technical support to Asset Managers throughout acquisition, renovation, and disposal phases. Additionally, you will be responsible for delivering reports and ad hoc insights to support informed decision-making.
* Supporting Asset Managers during acquisition, disposal, and lease termination processes within your region. This includes conducting Technical Due Diligence (TDD), assessing CAPEX requirements, and performing feasibility studies.
* Planning and programming renovation and new construction projects in alignment with brand standards, with guidance from the central office.
* Leading or supervising multiple major capital improvement projects—such as new hotel constructions, upgrades, or extensions—simultaneously, ensuring delivery within approved budget, scope, and schedule (primarily in the UK, Benelux, and Germany as needed).
* Managing structural and technical works, including replacements and improvements.
* Participating in meetings with owners, sellers, and potential buyers to support Asset Managers with technical insights.
* Overseeing or coordinating FF&E and HES equipment procurement and setup.
* Contributing to transversal projects and cross-functional expertise sharing across the organization.
* Ensuring accurate reporting, documentation, and optimization of time and costs throughout project lifecycles.
* Assisting the Technical & Construction Director with daily operational activities in your designated area.
* Implementing and maintaining a Quality Plan, ensuring all procedures comply with safety standards and on-site regulations.

* Experience: 5–10 years as a Project Manager in the hotel construction and renovation sector, with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously.
* Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or Quantity Surveying or equivalent
* Expertise: Strong knowledge of hotel construction and renovation processes, brand standards, fire safety regulations, and operational requirements.
* Skills: Excellent communication abilities, with the capacity to navigate complex and high-pressure environments with diplomacy and agility.
* Languages: Fluency in English is essential.
