Overview We are seeking an experienced and qualified Maintenance Technician to join our team at the Wakefield Depot. In this pivotal role, you will take ownership of maintaining and enhancing our mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems. Your responsibilities will encompass Planned Preventative Maintenance, swift resolution of system breakdowns, defect repairs, and the overall upkeep and optimization of our depot facilities and automation systems. Shift Pattern: 41.08 hours per week rotating shift Week 1 - Day shift 5:45am - 2pm Week 2 - Night shift 9:45pm - 6am, and Sundays 6:30am to 1:30pm Week 3 - Back shift 1:45pm to 10pm Job Responsibilities * Maintenance of volume picking machinery through scheduled maintenance. * Engage and manage external contractors. * Immediate response to any breakdowns with the production equipment in accordance with the production hours. * Assisting and manage the delivery of Supply Chain technical projects. In this role you will be required to stand and walk for most of your shift, as well as needing to be able to lift (up to 15kg), bend, twist, kneel, and crouch.
