Application Security Analyst - SQL
Rate- £500 - £550 Inside IR35 total to umbrella
Location- Bristol twice a week on site
Duration- 6 months
The Role:
We're working with a global organisation that is seeking an Application Security Consultant to support a long-standing, business-critical payments product within their Global portfolio.
The focus of this role is a legacy IHCM application. The application is built on a Microsoft technology stack, including SQL Server and holds sensitive employee base data, making internal access control and data security a key priority.
This is a non-hands on development role, ideal for someone with strong technical understanding who can bridge the gap between product, security and the wider business.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with Product Leads and stakeholders to understand current application capabilities and limitations
2. Review and assess internal application security, with a strong focus on user access and data access management
3. Advise on improvements to user profiles, access rights and permission models
4. Help define and design grouped access, restricted profiles and role-based access across different customer and user categories
