We’re looking for an experienced Mountain Leader to lead the growth of RNIB’s See Cymru Differently Guide Walker Training Model. You’ll play a key role in making walking in Wales safer, more accessible and more welcoming for blind and partially sighted people.
You’ll design and deliver a national Guide Walker training programme, building a skilled and sustainable community of trained professionals and volunteers across Wales. You’ll also work closely with outdoor organisations, national parks and equipment and clothing brands to promote accessibility and inclusive design in the outdoors.
This is a hands‑on, outward‑facing role. You’ll bring excellent communication skills, strong partnership working and a real passion for the Welsh landscape and its impact on health and wellbeing.
You’ll need to hold a current Mountain Leader qualification and have solid experience leading groups in Welsh and UK landscapes. Travel across Wales, including the National Parks, will be part of the role, with occasional overnight stays.
