Are you a passionate and dedicated Religious Education teacher looking to inspire young minds? A well-respected secondary school in Preston is seeking a committed and enthusiastic RE Teacher to join their team on a full-time basis from Monday 3rd November 2025 until Friday 14th February 2026.
The Role:
You will be responsible for delivering engaging and thought-provoking RE lessons to Key Stage 3 and 4 students, encouraging open-mindedness, critical thinking, and a deep understanding of world religions and ethical issues. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking Humanities department during a maternity cover period.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent
* Experience teaching Religious Education at KS3 and KS4
* A strong understanding of the national curriculum for RE
* Excellent classroom management and communication skills
* A commitment to fostering a respectful and inclusive classroom environment
