The Opportunity
We are seeking an experienced Senior Construction Project Manager to lead delivery on a high-profile project within the built environment sector in London. This is a pivotal role requiring strong technical, commercial, and stakeholder management expertise to ensure successful delivery across complex contractor and design environments.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the successful delivery of a major construction project from inception through to completion
* Manage and hold contractors accountable for programme, cost, and quality performance
* Identify and mitigate risks, ensuring the project remains on track
* Act as the primary interface between the client and design teams (architects and engineers)
* Coordinate across contractors, consultants, and key stakeholders
* Deliver clear and consistent reporting to senior leadership
What You’ll Be Doing
* Owning the full project lifecycle, including planning, execution, monitoring, and close-out
* Developing and maintaining robust project plans covering scope, cost, schedule, and resources
* Monitoring progress and performance, taking corrective action where needed
* Managing change control processes and ensuring governance is maintained
* Leading stakeholder engagement at a senior level
* Driving collaboration across multidisciplinary teams
* Ensuring all Health & Safety standards and regulations are upheld
Essential Experience
* Significant experience operating as a Senior Project Manager or Project Director within the built environment
* Strong technical understanding of construction delivery and methodologies
* Proven financial and commercial management capability
* Experience working with contract frameworks such as JCT and NEC
* Advanced knowledge of project scheduling tools (e.g. Primavera, MS Project)
* Expert understanding of UK construction Health & Safety regulations
* Strong stakeholder engagement and leadership skills

* Active SC Clearance (applications without this cannot be considered)
