About the Role
Friends of the Elderly (FotE) is a not‑for‑profit charity dedicated to providing excellent care with a family feel for older people. Woking Day Care in Surrey offers a wide range of daily activities suited to each client’s interests and preferences. As a Day Care Assistant you will deliver a high standard of holistic care and support, helping clients maintain independence, autonomy, and choice while leading fulfilled lives.
Responsibilities
* Put clients at the heart of day‑care delivery and meet their physical, social, and wellbeing needs.
* Ensure high standards of care are consistently met.
* Facilitate each client’s choice, dignity, and respect.
* Keep clients safe and secure at all times.
Qualifications & Experience
* Experience working with older people is preferred.
* NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care is desirable but not essential; all training will be provided.
* Successful applicants will need to undertake an enhanced DBS check; a criminal record will not automatically disqualify but will be considered on a case‑by‑case basis.
* Right to work in the UK.
