This is a unique and varied role within Leicestershire County Council's Complaints and Information Management Service. We are a small, dedicated, and professional team that includes Corporate Complaints and Freedom of Information (FOI). You will be responsible for managing all complaints received into the Local Authority.
We support employees in balancing their work and personal commitments. Flexible working arrangements will be considered where possible, including term-time working, part-time hours, compressed hours, flexible start and finish times, and home/remote working. Key Responsibilities and Requirements:
* Supporting a Complaints or FOI function and/or working in a customer service information role dealing with the public
* Investigating and resolving complaints and responding to information requests
* Demonstrating well-developed listening skills to interpret information effectively
* Handling correspondence and queries proactively with good planning skills
* Organising and prioritising a diverse workload
* Developing IT skills as new systems are introduced
