Location: Redcar and Cleveland
Salary: £100 – £130 per day (Depending on Experience)
Start Date: Immediate
Contract Type: Day-to-day / Long-term | Part-time / Full-time

If so, GSL Education are excited to offer an excellent opportunity for a dedicated Cover Supervisor to join a welcoming and supportive secondary school setting in Redcar and Cleveland. If you’re confident, adaptable, and passionate about education, this could be the ideal role for you.
Your Role as a Cover Supervisor (CS):
* Supervise classes during teacher absences, ensuring students remain on task and engaged.
* Deliver pre-planned lessons across a range of subjects and year groups.
* Manage classroom behaviour in line with school policies.
* Provide feedback to teaching staff regarding student progress and engagement.
* Support pupils in completing set activities and encourage positive learning attitudes.
* Help create a safe, respectful, and productive learning environment.
What You’ll Need as a Cover Supervisor (CS):
* Experience working with young people in a school, sports, youth work, or similar setting.
* Strong classroom management and communication skills.
* Confidence to lead classes across Key Stage 3 and Key Stage 4.
* Flexibility, resilience, and a professional approach.
* An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
