Job Summary The role holder will play a key role in the design, delivery and maintenance of data pipelines from our operational systems into our data lake to support the delivery of analytics and insights across the organisation. They will contribute at both a strategic and tactical level developing our data lake, ensuring there is one single version of the truth across SJA, designing and building data pipelines from across our full tech stack. They will be a point of contact on change programmes, ensuring the analytical needs of the organisation are represented as part of new technology implementations and upgrades. They will communicate with a range of stakeholders, both technical and non-technical, interpreting business requirements into fit for purpose specifications to develop from. About You You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent (Grade C / 4) including Maths & English, minimum 5 and have a Recognised certification in a technical data capability such as SQL. You will have experience working within a Microsoft Azure environment and Experience with structured, semi-structured, and unstructured data, extracting information and identifying linkages across disparate data sets and familiar with PaaS database systems (Synapse, Data Factory).
