What's involved with this role: Job Title: Social Work Assistant Ref: Durham 5277976 Pay rate: £14.84 per hour PAYE Role length: Anticipated 2 - 3 months Working arrangements: Office based - can use various offices around Durham DBS requirement: Enhanced DBS The role: We are currently looking for a Social Work Assistant to play a vital role in supporting children in care by supervising family time between children and their family members and assisting with some essential administrative duties. In order to carry out this role, you will need experience of with working directly with children and experience of supervising family time. Key responsibilities: Supervise family time between children in care and their family members Support administrative tasks such as completing Strengths and Difficulty Questionnaires and updating dental records Complete life story work for children to help them understand their life journey What the client is looking for: Previous experience in a similar role Experience working directly with children Experience of supervising family time Administration experience How to Apply: Quote the Job Title and Reference Number in your application.
