Role Description
This is a full-time hybrid working role for an Intermediate/Senior Electrical Design Engineer. The professional in this role will be responsible for designing electrical systems, producing technical drawings, specifications & schedules, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Daily tasks include creating and reviewing electrical designs, collaborating with cross-disciplinary teams, and completing TDD surveys. The role requires ensuring project deadlines are met while maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications
* Proficiency in Electrical Design and Design Engineering principles
* In-depth knowledge of Electrical Engineering and Electricity
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to collaborate in a multidisciplinary environment
* Proficiency in industry-standard software packages for electrical design
* Demonstrated knowledge of industry codes, regulations, and safety standards
* Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
* Previous experience in a similar role, within the MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing) sector
* Full UK driving license
