Sales Order Process Administrator (Temporary)
Location: Hull (HU9) - Site-Based Role
Working Hours: Monday to Thursday, 07:30 - 17:00
Pay Rate: £12.71 per hour

About the Role
We are seeking an organised and detail-oriented Sales Order Process Administrator to join our team on a temporary basis in Hull (HU9).
This role is responsible for the accurate and timely processing of customer orders, maintaining strong communication with customers and internal departments, and supporting production planning through effective scheduling.
The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring customer requirements are met while supporting efficient operational performance across the business.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Order Processing
Accurately register and process customer orders in internal systems
Check for duplicate orders and verify customer information
Maintain accurate customer and order records
Job Pack Creation
Prepare complete and accurate production documentation (job packs)
Ensure all required information is available to support production teams
Customer Communication
Act as a key point of contact for customers throughout the order lifecycle
Provide timely updates on order progress, risks, delays, or changes
Production Scheduling
Work closely with production teams to create realistic and achievable schedules
Support workload balancing to ensure efficient production flow
Non-Conformance & Issue Resolution
Identify, escalate, and support resolution of issues affecting order processing or production
Follow established non-conformance procedures where required
Data & Systems Administration
Maintain accurate customer, order, and production data
Ensure internal systems remain accurate, organised, and up to date
Skills & Experience
Essential
Previous experience in order processing, sales administration, production administration, or a similar role
Strong IT literacy and confidence using business systems and preparing reports
Excellent organisational skills and strong attention to detail
Strong communication skills with the ability to build positive relationships across teams and with customers
Desirable
Experience working within a manufacturing or production environment
Understanding of business processes, quality standards, and company procedures
Knowledge of Health & Safety and risk assessment principles
