Glynde Ward is a busy, acute 30-bedded Ward Acute General Medicine. We have an excellent multidisciplinary team approach and work with an exceptional, extended team.
We are looking for experienced Clinical Support Workers. Hospital experience is desirable but not essential. A minimum of GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4 or Functional skills for English/Maths, Care Certificate and or NVQ2 two in Health and Social Care or an equivalent role is required.
Responsibilities
* Provide delegated clinical procedures such as insertion/removal of cannula, venepuncture, wound assessment and simple dressings, removal of urinary catheter. Training will be provided.
* Complete an induction course, which will include all the Trust statutory/Mandatory training.
* Invite and share knowledge and experience with the ward.
* Work as part of a team, use your own initiative with effective interpersonal and communication skills, contributing fully as a member of the multidisciplinary team.
* Track professional development and maintain high standards of patient care.
Qualifications
• Minimum GCSE English and Maths grade C or 4; or Functional Skills in English/Maths. • Care Certificate. • NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care or equivalent.
