Their excellent staff retention reflects their positive culture, strong progression routes and commitment to developing their people.The RoleAs a 1st Line IT Support Technician, you will be the first point of contact for users across a range of education sites, providing technical support, troubleshooting issues and ensuring IT services run smoothly.You will be joining a collaborative team where no two days are the same, supporting a wide range of technologies including Microsoft 365, Azure, Windows, Active Directory, networking, device management and cloud-based systems.Day-to-Day ResponsibilitiesAs the 1st Line IT Support Technician, you will:Manage incidents and customer requests from initial receipt through to resolution and closureProvide professional, friendly and efficient IT support to end usersEnsure service level agreement standards are metTroubleshoot and resolve a range of hardware, software, network and cloud-related issuesComplete admin tasks, documentation and support records accurately and promptlyMaintain accurate site information using IT Service Management toolsPromote IT best practice across supported sitesFollow change control processes and internal proceduresPlan and organise your working week effectively across multiple locationsEscalate more complex issues where required, while continuing to learn from senior team membersExperience RequiredThe client is not expecting someone to tick every box, but experience with some of the following would be beneficial:A minimum of 12 months' commercial experience in an IT support roleMicrosoft 365, Azure, Windows, Active Directory and Windows ServerBasic networking, including configuration, maintenance and troubleshootingCloud technologies such as Microsoft 365, Azure, SharePoint and OneDriveMicrosoft Endpoint Manager or similar device management toolsWindows and Apple operating system supportBackup solutions, including on-premise and cloud-based systemsExperience supporting a range of IT technologies in a professional environmentStrong communication skills and a customer-focused approachGood organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple support requestsWhy Apply?This is an excellent opportunity to join a company with a proven track record of retaining and developing its staff.
