We have a Weekend Breakfast Supervisor role becoming available to join our front of house team at our busy restaurant, bar and hotel.
The position requires experience in working within hospitality roles and you must be able to offer an excellent level of service to our customers.
To join our team you must be keen to greet and serve the guest with a high standard of customer service, conducting yourself in a professional manner at all times. You must be proactive, cheerful and have a sense of pride in your workplace. Successful candidates will be able to communicate effectively with the customer, the kitchen, the bar and their fellow team members.
During quieter times you will be expected to prepare the restaurant and bar for service, respond to telephone and email enquiries and carry out cleaning duties in accordance with our cleaning schedule.
The role is working on Saturdays and Sundays from 7.30am until 3pm. There is also the possibility of picking up Friday morning shifts plus holiday cover.
Key Responsibilities
· Ensure the smooth running of breakfast and lunch on a day to day basis
· Work with the breakfast chef to deliver an efficient and friendly service
· Ensure guest expectations are exceeded and seek opportunities to improve the guest experience by requesting feedback and evaluating service levels within the restaurant
· Manage through the guest's check out from the hotel
· Ensure all hygiene and Health and Safety legislations are followed within the restaurant
· Overseeing the cleaning of the restaurant and bar areas
Key Skills, Qualities & Experience
· A proven track record of achieving outstanding levels of personal and departmental targets to meet and exceed expectations
· You must have current restaurant or breakfast supervisor experience, this is a busy operation
· Capable of demonstrating outstanding leadership, coaching and management skills
· The ability to demonstrate personal ownership of tasks and ensure completion to achieve required results
· Hands on approach to work, always being productive and looking to improve
· Detail orientated and drives standards
· Effective communication both written and spoken within and between departments
· Possess a positive attitude and a desire to learn
· Ability to meet deadlines and work under pressure
· Friendly, courteous and helpful with excellent communication skills
· Motivated to go the extra mile for guests and colleagues
