25 hours per week, Monday to Friday (typically 10.00am – 3.00pm)

£22,270 per annum, with flexibility for the right candidate depending on experience
ABOUT THE ROLE
Chartridge Park Ltd is seeking an experienced, highly organised Bookkeeper & Office Administrator to support the day‑to‑day running of our office and financial administration.
This is a key operational role with a strong focus on bookkeeping, financial accuracy and structured office management, using QuickBooks.
You will play an important part in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting residents, and ensuring the smooth day‑to‑day operation of the Park’s administration.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
* Purchase ledger and sales ledger processing using QuickBooks
* Monthly invoicing and electricity billing calculations
* Bank reconciliations, journals, accruals and prepayments
* VAT returns and preparation of monthly management information / P&L reporting
* Supporting payroll and PAYE administration, including maintaining accurate records and liaising with providers where required
* Assisting with routine pension administration and employee records
* Aged debtor monitoring and payment follow‑up
* Supporting the annual CPI fee review process
* Resident liaison and general office administration
* Supporting administration relating to plot assignments, enquiries and resident records
* Maintaining accurate filing systems (digital and paper)
* Assisting with website / WordPress updates where required
This is an operational office and bookkeeping role and does not involve Board governance or Director decision‑making.
ABOUT YOU
We are looking for someone who is:
* An experienced bookkeeper with strong numerical accuracy
* Highly organised and able to manage multiple tasks calmly
* Professional and comfortable dealing with residents
* Discreet and trustworthy when handling financial information
* Able to work independently within a small team
* Comfortable following clear reporting lines and structured processes
OTHER REQUIREMENTS
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Ability to multi‑task, organise, and prioritise work
* Experience within a property, estates, residential or small organisation environment would be advantageous.
