Adventist Rehabilitation - Shady Grove Medical Center
We are seeking an experienced Lymphedema Occupational Therapist for our Outpatient Rehabilitation department at Aquilino Cancer Center. Join us in our mission to extend God’s care through physical, mental, and spiritual healing.
Responsibilities include:
* Perform initial assessments and evaluations to determine diagnosis, prognosis, and care plans for patients with rehabilitation needs in various settings.
* Provide or supervise therapy interventions aligned with patient assessments, involving patients and team members in planning and evaluation, and modifying care plans as needed.
* Plan for patient discharge considering achievement of goals, and coordinate follow-up or referrals.
* Document all patient management activities and communicate effectively with the care team.
* Manage caseload and participate in team meetings.
* Engage in ongoing professional development.
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
* Certified Lymphedema Therapist (CLT) certification from Klose or Norton.
* 1 year of site-specific experience preferred.
* Active Maryland OT License.
* American Heart Association BLS certification.
Work Schedule & Compensation:
This is a per diem position at $60/hour, covering Monday through Friday, 7:30 am - 4:00 pm. Salary range: $34.58 - $51.87 per hour. Salary discussions will occur during screening.
