As an integral part of our operations team in Preston, you'll be ensuring everything runs smoothly, from receiving goods to dispatching orders and everything in between. Your role will encompass a diverse range of tasks, including managing customer orders, coordinating with couriers, and providing crucial administrative support. With your keen eye for detail and proactive approach, you'll help maintain our stock levels, ensure equipment is in top condition, and provide essential facilities support. Exciting work you will be doing: Receive incoming goods and prepare and pack instruments for dispatch. To receive, book in and quality check customer orders and entry to our inhouse systems. Arrange couriers and liaise with customers to co-ordinate collections and dispatch. General administrative tasks as requested, including reception duties. Assist in the raising of purchase orders, invoicing and online payments. Prepare and administer hire equipment contracts. Assist in the preparation, set up, dismantling and disposal of test apparatus. Under supervision conduct basic calibration or test activities as and when required. Identification and ordering supplies. Control, monitor & maintain operational stock and undertake monthly stock checks. Provide site facilities support, including maintenance checks, portable appliance testing and carrying out basic general maintenance and upkeep.
