Hgv Vehicle technician HireGiant are currently recruiting for an experienced HGV vehicle technician for a well established business based in Enslow Oxfordshire. Specific: ? To carry out scheduled servicing and maintenance of HGV fleet in accordance with manufacturers recommendations. ? To prepare vehicles for MOT tests and take them to the test site. ? To complete job sheets and maintain vehicle service records. ? To undertake roadside maintenance/repairs. ? To maintain a lean and tidy working environment. ? To dispose of waste oils, fluids, and scrap in the correct manner. ? To wear correct clothing and PPE as issues by the company. ? To follow all relevant regulations and safe working practices. ? To be able to work alone without supervision but help in other areas of the business as required. ? To undertake any job specific training. ? Any other duties as reasonably required. General: ? To comply with the Health and Safety at Work etc. ACT 1974 and observe the additional requirements of the Companys Health and Safety Policy. ? To comply with all aspects of the Competitions act 1999. ? To comply with all aspects of the Bribery act 2010. ? To ensure the business/operations are performed in accordance with company policies, guidelines, procedures, and the employee handbook. ? To help maintain company security and prevent fraudulent activity taking place. ? To maintain and strive to improve company image in all actions and communications, both internally and externally. Hours and pay : The hourly rate of pay is £15.72; this is made up of 40 hours per week paid at basic and 7.5 hours per week paid at time and a half. The working hours are week 1 Monday to Friday 6am to 4pm and week 2 Monday to Friday 7am to 5pm.
