We are seeking a Functional Skills Tutor, for Mathematics. Would you like to make a difference to young people lives by supporting learners aged 15 to 18.
DUTIES
* To deliver upto level 2 functional skills Mathematics
* Delivering via face-to-face sessions in the classroom environment
* Planning and delivery engaging lessons, tailoring your teaching to the learners’ individual needs
* Caseload of 12 to 14 learners in the classroom
* All planning, marking is done on site within the working hours and not a requirement to complete any additional extra-circular activities
* Inspire and motivate learners to achieve qualifications on time
* Ensure marking and feedback to the learner is accurate and supports their development
* Produce reports
* Attend meetings
ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE
* Experience in delivering Mathematics upto level 2 functional skills or similar
