Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Roofer to join our team. As a Roofer, you will be responsible for the installation of solar panels and maintaining roofs on residential and commercial buildings. This is a physically demanding role that requires expertise in various roofing techniques and the ability to work with different materials. We value individuals who demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and take genuine pride in delivering quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
* Install solar panels, rails and anchors; repair, or replace roof sections using a variety of materials such as asphalt, slate, metal, or tiles
* Measure and cut solar installation materials to fit specific dimensions
* Maintain integrity of roofs and carry out on the spot repairs where necessary
* Install insulation and vapor barriers to ensure energy efficiency
* Apply waterproofing materials to prevent leaks and water damage
* Inspect roofs for damage or deterioration and recommend necessary repairs or replacements
* Collaborate with other team members to complete projects on time and according to specifications
* Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations while working at heights
* Demonstrate exceptional workmanship and attention to detail in all roofing and solar installation work
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Roofer or in a similar role
* Strong knowledge of roofing techniques, materials, and tools
* Physical stamina to perform heavy lifting and work in various weather conditions
* Demonstrated commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail
* Self-motivated individual who takes pride in their craft
* Must have a current full UK driving licence
