The Opportunity
A leading and well-established food manufacturing business is seeking a Technical Account Manager to join their UK team. This is a highly visible, customer-facing role, combining technical expertise with commercial influence across a national customer base.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead the technical rollout of new product launches across the UK
* Provide expert support to national accounts, distributors, and wholesale customers
* Act as the escalation point for complex technical and production challenges
* Conduct root cause analysis and deliver solutions at customer sites
* Deliver technical training to internal sales teams and external partners
* Represent the business at industry events, exhibitions, and competitions
* Support innovation by developing on-trend product applications
About You
* Strong background in bakery, pastry, or food manufacturing (Master Baker / Senior Pastry Chef desirable)
* Experience in a technical or applications role, ideally across a national or multi-site remit
* In-depth knowledge of ingredients such as enzymes, emulsifiers, fats, and stabilisers
* Commercially aware, with the ability to translate technical detail into customer value
* Confident engaging with both operational teams and senior stakeholders
* Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel extensively
