Systems Development Officer

The Development Team supports key business applications across Customer Experience and Digital Services including Council Tax, Business Rates and Social Care Finance. The team is responsible for managing, coordinating, and developing key IT systems across the service, including procurement and training and facilitating the implementation, development, and support of these systems to help improve service delivery.
We are looking for a Systems Development Officer to join a team supporting the Development Manager in the management and development of systems and applications across Customer Experience and Digital services. Reporting to the Development Manager, the successful candidate will work closely with colleagues across the Council to support in the development and maintenance of all relevant systems to meet current and future service needs and provide the best support for system users. This role will work on a variety of business‑critical systems and will concentrate on the development and performance of telephony systems.
