As the Data Analyst, you will play a crucial role in helping the business make data-driven decisions – utilising SQL, Power BI and Excel. You will work with a variety of datasets, ensuring information is accurate, well-structured, and easy to interpret. The role offers the chance to work as an end-to-end analyst; develop analytical solutions, improve reporting processes, and collaborate with teams across the business to deliver actionable insights. Role & Responsibilities Work with large datasets to uncover trends, patterns, and insights, delivering clear reports and visualisations to inform business decisions. Ensure data is accurate, consistent, and reliable by validating, cleansing, and maintaining key sources. Collaborate with colleagues across the business to understand their data needs and translate them into meaningful outputs. Support compliance with data governance policies and maintain high standards for handling sensitive information. Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve data quality, and enhance reporting capabilities. Provide timely analytical support to internal stakeholders, helping the business make informed decisions. Continuously develop your skills and knowledge to keep pace with evolving business and technical requirements. Skills & Experience Previous Data Analytics experience in a commercial environment, or coming from a relevant numerical degree (e.g. Data Analytics, Maths) Strong with SQL (or Python), Power BI (or similar) and Excel are essential. Pro-active, with a passion for data, and eager to learn and develop Experience building and managing dashboards and reports from scratch, ideally in Power BI working with data warehouses working with raw data and are confident using SQL or other programme languages to extract data from the data base for investigation Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail. Clear and effective communication skills, able to explain insights to non-technical audiences. Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
