Key Responsibilities: Audit (60%) Lead and manage audit engagements, from planning to finalisation Supervise and mentor audit teams, ensuring compliance with audit methodologies Review audit workpapers and ensure adherence to UK GAAP, IFRS, and auditing standards Identify and evaluate audit risks; develop and implement risk mitigation strategies Liaise with clients to gather information and address audit queries Accounts (40%) Prepare and review statutory financial statements for limited companies, partnerships, and sole traders Assist in the preparation of management accounts and other financial reports Ensure accuracy and compliance of accounting records and supporting schedules Support the year-end accounts package and liaise with tax teams as required Requirements: Exposure to accounts preparation and client-facing responsibilities Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, Sage) and Microsoft Office Suite Benefits: Competitive salary and benefits Professional development and training opportunities Pension scheme and health benefits Full study support Progression opportunities
