Responsibilities
* Dietetics Assessment and Treatment: Provide dietetic assessment and treatment for babies, children and young people residing in Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering with support from the established team.
* Collaboration: Work collaboratively with dietitians and multidisciplinary teams to improve nutritional care across Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering.
* Patient-Centered Care: Demonstrate sensitivity, non-judgment, and professionalism in dealing with patients. Provide advice in a considerate manner.
* Professional Development: Demonstrate a commitment to professional development and training opportunities.
* Communication and Time Management: Possess excellent communication and time management skills to efficiently coordinate tasks with patients, carers, and health professionals.
* Line Management and Training: Contribute to student training and the development of other team members.
* Flexibility: Travel may be required across the three boroughs – Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering.
Requirements
* Band 5 Community Dietitian with interest in paediatric dietetics.
* Ability to travel across Barking, Dagenham, Redbridge, and Havering.
* Commitment to professional development and ongoing learning.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a multi-disciplinary team and with patients and families.

Probationary Period
This post will be subject to a probationary period.
Starting with NELFT
NELFT place a great deal of importance on welcoming and inducting new starters. New starters will join the Trust on the first Monday of each month and will undertake a comprehensive induction of up to two weeks, including mandatory training, systems training and equipment allocation. The induction will be held at our head office in Rainham, Essex, and will include opportunities to meet the executive team and senior managers, and attend drop-in sessions focusing on engagement, health and wellbeing, and key processes.
Compensation
High Cost Area Supplement – London: This post attracts payment for High-Cost Area Supplement of 15% of the basic salary (minimum £4,714 to maximum £5,941 per annum, pro rata for part time).
