What We're Looking For:
* Previous experience working in catering and hospitality
* Knowledge of bar products and cocktail making, or willingness to learn
* Excellent communication and customer service skills
* Knowledge of food and beverage operations and health and safety regulations
* Attention to detail, ensuring the venues are presentable
* Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends

The Trust is an independent charity that manages five iconic and contemporary venues at the heart of Cheltenham including the Pittville Pump Room, Cheltenham Town Hall and the Garden Bar, The Wilson Art Gallery and Museum, Leisure at Cheltenham, and the Prince of Wales stadium. We deliver a wide range of services and activities including hires and events, festivals and shows, exhibitions, leisure, cafes and in-house catering.
Your role
Reporting to the Bar/F&B Supervisor, you will be part of our team running an efficient food and drink service to all our customers, providing excellent customer service and maintaining high standards.
As part of the Trust casual team, you will also work closely with the events team, looking after our events bars and serving customer during show intervals, community or private events.
Your responsibilities
* Assisting the Bar/Events Manager and Supervisor in the day-to-day smooth running of the bars and events
* Taking beverage orders, preparing and serving drinks to customers
* Taking food orders, liaising with the kitchen team and ensuring food and drinks are served to the customer in a timely manner
* Taking card payments, recording and processing customers' orders and using the till system correctly
* Providing a consistently high level of service, engaging in a professional but friendly manner to customers
* Ensuring the bar and customers' areas are always clean
