About The Role
We are looking for a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Manager to be the subject matter expert on Marketing Cloud Engagement (SFMC), owning, optimising, and evolving its use across the organisation. The role drives change management, ensures user adoption, and collaborates with marketing, IT, and cross‑functional teams to embed best practices in marketing technology.
Key contractual hours: 35.00 per week.
Key Accountabilities
* Act as the technical owner and SME for SFMC, accountable for solution design, configuration, and development standards.
* Design and deliver scalable, end‑to‑end technical solutions across SFMC, including data models, integrations, automation, and personalisation use cases.
* Lead hands‑on development across components such as Automation Studio, Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, and scripting environments (AMPscript, SQL, SSJS).
* Define and enforce best practice for data architecture, segmentation, campaign orchestration, and automation design.
Skills, Qualifications, and Experience
* 5+ years hands‑on experience with Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engagement, including significant technical build and development.
* Proven expertise in SFMC development: SQL, AMPscript, Server‑Side JavaScript (SSJS), HTML, and CSS.
* Demonstrable experience designing and implementing data models, integrations, and automated marketing workflows within SFMC.
* Salesforce Marketing Cloud certifications (e.g., Email Specialist, Administrator) – essential requirement.
* Strong understanding of Marketing Cloud architecture, including data structure, contact model, and cross‑channel orchestration.
* Experience integrating SFMC with other platforms via APIs, data extensions, and external data pipelines.
* Collaborated closely with engineering and data teams on complex implementations.
* Proven delivery of large‑scale, technically complex CRM or marketing technology solutions.
* Strong knowledge of data governance, security, and privacy best practices (including GDPR).
* Led technical delivery while supporting and mentoring team members.
* Excellent stakeholder engagement and ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
* Strong problem‑solving skills with a proactive, solution‑oriented mindset.

* Salary up to £60,000.
