The Company:
My Client is a small but growing, global financial services training organisation servicing a number of the world's financial institutions, from Investment Banks to private banks and asset managers. Operating from locations across the globe, my client has a world-class reputation and is an emerging leader in the field of financial training, providing solutions via E-Learning and Classroom-based training. Due to continued success over several years, the business is now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager.
The Role:
As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for both proactive and reactive development of accounts. The company benefits from a large intake of warm leads and needs a strong relationship builder with a consultative sales approach to further enhance these leads and nurture them through to closing. You will be responsible for your sales strategy and approach to business development with a targeted client base. Once you win an account, the relationship is nurtured and grown to maximize opportunities for repeat business. You will focus on building new business as well as working with existing opportunities, primarily with accounts already established in EMEA. Regular sales meetings will be attended virtually and online, and you will be responsible for reporting and forecasting sales results.
The Person:
If you have a proven track record in selling directly to the financial market space or within training and education, you are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will already be working for a provider of services or solutions to banking and finance, including compliance, though this is not essential. You should have experience presenting to board-level stakeholders and a history of meeting and exceeding individual sales targets. Selling into HR, Compliance, or C-level executives is preferable.
The Remuneration:
This role offers a basic salary of GBP40-55K, dependent on experience, along with a lucrative uncapped commission structure that provides a realistic OTE of GBP70-85K. Benefits include a laptop, mobile phone, healthcare, pension, and other perks associated with working for a market leader.
