This a multi-billion pound business and, as Operations Manager for their site in Lancashire, you will play a key role in transforming one of their new facilities. In this role, you will play a key role in deploying new systems and ways of working and transforming the culture of production. The Role The successful Operations Manager will: * Lead the site’s operations strategy in line with the wider company’s business plan. * Drive site KPIs to achieve best-in-class performance across safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people. * Build and sustain a culture of continuous improvement and accountability. * Lead, coach and develop a team of operational leaders and shift-based colleagues. * Champion HSE and Food Safety compliance, working closely with Technical and HSE functions. * Use Lean, Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies to deliver measurable improvement in efficiency and performance. * Promote data-driven decision making and build operational excellence across all teams. The Candidate The successful Operations Manager will have: * Proven experience in FMCG manufacturing operations (food experience ideal). * Strong leadership and coaching skills with experience managing large, fast-moving teams. * Analytical and data-driven, with a solid grasp of operational KPIs and performance systems. * Excellent communicator who inspires collaboration across functions. * Passionate about continuous improvement and people development.
