Mechanical Installation Engineer
We are seeking an experienced and conscientious Mechanical Installation Engineer to support a current project for a major utility company.
Salary: £30-37k, Department based on experience.
Location: Chesterfield (Travel required).
Key Responsibilities
* Installation of steel security doors.
* Fitting and commissioning of new locking mechanisms.
* Working safely and professionally on secure utility sites.
* Ensuring all installations meet the required quality standards.
* Completing work either independently or as part of a two-person team.
* Travelling to sites as required.
Qualifications
* Previous experience in mechanical installation, door installation, locksmithing, security systems, or a similar field.
* Practical experience using hand and power tools.
* Reliable, conscientious, and able to maintain high standards of work.
* Comfortable working on secure sites and following site procedures.
* Full UK driving licence preferred.
* Able to work away and travel when required.
