Senior Care Assistant – Penarth, Vale of Glamorgan area.
We are an excellent care home offering high‑quality residential care and short‑term respite care in a warm, welcoming environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and inspire a team of committed care assistants.
* Provide the highest quality of care to our residents enabling them to live late life well.
* Support residents with personal care needs and help them to take part in a wide range of activities that support their health and wellbeing.
* Administer medication and maintain clear and accurate records.
Qualifications & Experience
* NVQ/QCF Level 3 qualification in Health & Social Care.
* Passionate about caring for older people.
* Previous care experience within a similar setting.
* Experience leading, coaching and motivating a team to deliver high quality care.
* Kind, warm and caring nature.
* Able to work well as part of a team but also use own initiative.
Salary & Hours
£14.33 per hour (£32,787 per annum). Permanent full‑time role up to 44 hours a week on nights only.
