In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of the production facility by effectively maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing a variety of mechanical and electrical equipment.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Requirements
* Time-served apprenticeship or relevant engineering qualification (e.g., NVQ Level 3, HNC/HND).
* Proven experience in a similar maintenance engineering role, ideally within a manufacturing environment.
* Strong knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical maintenance techniques.
* Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
* Experience with PLCs, conveyors, motors, gearboxes, and automated systems is advantageous.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Flexibility to provide on-call cover as required.
* Experience in the animal feed, food, or process manufacturing industry.
* Knowledge of lean manufacturing or continuous improvement principles.
Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer (Electrical Bias) - Responsibilities
* Carry out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) on production machinery and equipment.
* Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns and carry out effective fault diagnosis and repair.
* Work with both mechanical and electrical systems (bias can be considered).
* Support installation and commissioning of new equipment and machinery upgrades.
* Ensure all maintenance work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
* Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide on-call support as part of a rota to respond to out-of-hours issues.
