As a Senior Finance Analyst, you’ll help us optimise our finances to enhance customer experience and navigate the fast-changing business environment. This role offers the opportunity to act as a key finance leader for a strategic programme and shape our business.
Our Finance Managers take a hands-on role to boost business performance and efficiency. You’ll collaborate with partners across various business areas to provide insights on operational improvements. This involves deep data analysis, managing planning processes, and guiding team members through ambiguous cost structures. You’ll also assist other EU teams in accessing vital insights and fostering collaboration.
You’ll own and lead projects and programs, working closely with partners to inform and guide key decisions. The role is primarily based in our corporate offices but may also be located at one of our sites with occasional remote work.
Key job responsibilities
1. Build financial models to support business decisions and evaluate challenges based on Amazon’s cost structure.
2. Lead projects by managing timelines, priorities, quality audits, and issue resolution.
3. Generate insights from financial data, identify efficiency opportunities, and communicate findings to leadership to drive actions.
4. Own the financial and operational planning, create scalable processes, and ensure accuracy in financial reporting.

We focus on innovative thinking and continuous improvements to deliver millions of products efficiently. Our goal is to enhance customer experience and expand delivery solutions like Amazon Fresh, Prime Now, and Amazon Restaurants.
Our operations are divided into two teams: ‘under the roof’ associates who process products for dispatch, and ‘on the road’ delivery contractors via Amazon Flex. We operate 24/7 shifts at many locations, emphasizing a supportive, people-focused culture. We also innovate with new delivery methods, including electric vehicles and technology to reduce our carbon footprint.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
* Bachelor's degree
* Experience in tax, finance, or a related analytical field
* Experience in leading and executing process improvements in finance or business tools
* Knowledge of financial performance indicators (KPIs) and their application in analysis
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
* Experience with cube engine tools (e.g., TM1, Cognos, Essbase), SQL, and Data warehouse
