We have a fantastic opportunity for a European Demand Planning Coordinator to join this ever-growing and thriving manufacturer based in South Birmingham. Working for a company that truly expects excellence from all of its employees, you will be tasked with calculating, ordering and maintaining stock supply from this organisations multiple UK and European suppliers, working with Excel to do so and making sure that demands are always met on time and in line with supply chain trends and analysis. As the European Demand Planning Coordinator, you will have an excellent eye for detail, raising purchase orders and overseeing the purchase and processing of new stock with suppliers, progressing through to receipt of goods. If there are any queries or issues that arise regarding the deliveries, you will be tasked with solving supply problems and queries in a calm, friendly and professional manner. You will also create weekly stock reports for circulation across the company and analyse stock requirements so that the supply of items is maintained at a continuous and calculated level. With your fantastic analytical skills, and the ability to work with Excel, using V-lookups and Pivot tables to manage and review your stock data, you will maintain arrival dates for all products, ensuring accuracy of information on stock arrivals and budgeted spend. You will work closely with other departments to ensure customer requirements are met and build strong relationships with the Goods In department to ensure all deliveries are received and processed accurately. Diligent, proactive and capable, you will resolve all delivery, price and quality issues with UK and European suppliers, as well as supporting the Supply Manager with the management of imports from outside of Europe. You will maintain information on various purchasing Excel spreadsheets as necessary and will also have responsibility for processing import paperwork for European deliveries as applicable, including following all Brexit related protocols and procedures. To succeed in this challenging European Demand Planning Coordinator opportunity, previous experience of working within a purchasing or supply chain environment is essential, ideally from within a busy manufacturing environment. You will also have great communication skills for liaising with suppliers and internal colleagues on a daily basis and have great problem-solving skills, always looking one step ahead to minimise stock issues and delays.
