Job overview
To provide administrative, clerical and reception support to the Ward Manager and to the Paediatric Outpatients Department at Wycombe General Hospital.
Main duties of the job
As a key member of the Paediatric Outpatient team, you will be responsible for providing administrative, clerical and reception duties to support the staff and service users. Ensure patients' details are recorded accurately on our IT systems and deal with telephone enquiries professionally. Since this is a patient-facing role, a friendly and welcoming demeanour and calmness under pressure are essential. A can-do attitude and approachability are vital, as you will need to be keen to learn new processes in this important hospital area.
