Managing day-to-day financial processing, including invoicing, purchase ledger, payroll, pensions, expenses, bank reconciliations, and posting journals within Xero Supporting month-end close and associated reporting activities Processing new starter forms for payroll and HMRC purposes Reconciling bank accounts, accruals, prepayments, and accrued income on a quarterly basis Ensuring payroll data is accurate and submitted on time to the payroll provider Suitable Candidate for the Accounts Assistant vacancy: Previous experience in an accounts or finance role Highly organised with excellent attention to detail and accuracy Strong communication skills with the ability to liaise across departments Additional benefits and information for the role of Accounts Assistant: Hybrid working: 2-3 days from home per week 25 days annual leave, increasing to 28 with service 35-hour working week 10% company pension contribution AAT study support package CMA Recruitment Group is acting as a recruitment agency in relation to this role.
