The Role: The team is seeking a dedicated and experienced Chartered Accountant. The successful candidate will manage a portfolio of clients, prepare accounts and tax returns, and deliver exceptional service. This role offers the possibility of a 4-day working week.


Responsibilities:

* Manage a diverse client portfolio, ensuring high standards of accounting and tax services.
* Prepare and review financial statements and management accounts in compliance with standards and regulations.
* Handle the preparation and submission of tax returns, ensuring timely and accurate compliance with HMRC requirements.
* Act as the primary contact for clients, addressing queries and providing proactive advice.
* Offer strategic advice on financial planning, tax efficiency, and business growth.


Candidate Requirements:

* Chartered accountant qualification (ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
* Proven experience managing a client portfolio within a practice environment.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, tax compliance, and financial reporting standards.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Strong organisational and time management skills.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a team.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
