Are you an experienced Band 6 dietitian looking to expand your expertise in respiratory, surgery and critical care? Responsibilities
* Manage your own clinical caseload across the team areas: surgical, respiratory, acute medical, cardiology and critical care wards.
* Supervise junior staff and dietetic students as required.
* Work closely as part of a multi-disciplinary team and develop skills in service development and audit, in addition to clinical knowledge.
* Contribute to continuing professional development within a forward-thinking department.

Essential Qualifications
* Recognised Dietetics Degree qualification or equivalent
* Health Professions Council - Licence to Practice
Desirable Qualifications
* Membership of a special interest group
Experience
* Broad clinical experience across multiple areas including nutrition support in both in-patients and out-patients
* Experience working within an MDT
* Experience presenting to groups and teaching other healthcare professionals
* Student training/supervisory experience
* Active participation in audits or projects
Skills & Aptitude
* Proficient with PC, Microsoft Office and nutritional analysis software
* Autonomous, initiative-taker with strong clinical reasoning and time management
* Good verbal and written communication; ability to reflect on practice
* Commitment to governance, confidentiality, health and safety
* Ability to manage clinical caseload and prioritise; work effectively in MDTs and multi-disciplinary teams
* Ability to evaluate current research and apply to practice
