Working Hours: Full-Time – 37 hours per week (08:30–16:45)

I am currently recruiting on behalf of Rochdale Borough Council for an exciting 12-month opportunity for an experienced Adults Social Worker to join their Specialist Rough Sleeper Team. This pivotal role focuses on supporting individuals who are experiencing or at risk of rough sleeping, delivering targeted interventions to improve safety, stability, and long-term outcomes.

What you will do:
* Deliver targeted social work support to individuals experiencing or at risk of rough sleeping.
* Manage complex cases with a strong focus on safeguarding and risk reduction.
* Collaborate closely with housing providers, outreach teams, and local authority services to improve long‑term outcomes.
* Conduct safeguarding enquiries and maintain high standards of accurate and timely record‑keeping.
* Utilise strong organisational and multitasking skills to manage demanding caseloads effectively.
* Strengthen multi‑agency partnerships to support holistic and person‑centred care plans.
* Proven experience within Adult Social Care, particularly in complex case management.
* Demonstrable safeguarding experience with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficiency in ICT systems including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Ability to work effectively within multi‑disciplinary environments.
