Description
* Manage the tax compliance process for a portfolio of trust clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
* Provide expert tax advisory services on trust-related matters to clients and internal stakeholders.
* Identify and implement tax planning opportunities for trust clients in alignment with current regulations.
* Work collaboratively with colleagues across the Tax department to deliver integrated services.
* Build and maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and meetings.
* Assist in the development and mentoring of junior team members within the Tax department.
* Stay updated on legislative changes in trust taxation and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
* Support the business in achieving its overall goals and objectives through effective tax management and client service.
Profile
A successful Trusts Tax Manager should have:
* A professional qualification in tax or accountancy (e.g., CTA, ACA, ACCA or equivalent).
* Strong technical knowledge and experience in trust taxation within professional services.
* Proven ability to manage a portfolio of clients and deliver to deadlines.
* Exceptional communication skills to liaise effectively with clients and internal teams.
* Proficiency in relevant tax software and strong analytical skills.
* A proactive attitude with a focus on providing innovative tax solutions.
