As part of ongoing transformation initiatives, there is a need to strengthen architectural alignment across the organisation and ensure technology investments are delivering measurable business value.The OpportunityThis is a strategic, high-impact role with exposure to senior leadership.You will be responsible for shaping and governing enterprise architecture in an environment that combines operational systems, customer-facing platforms, and data-driven capabilities. The organisation is delivering a range of transformation programmes aimed at modernising legacy systems, improving efficiency, and enabling better decision making through technology.This role requires a pragmatic and commercially aware Enterprise Architect who can operate effectively across a complex landscape, providing direction, challenge, and clarity rather than purely documentation.Key ResponsibilitiesDefine and evolve enterprise architecture strategy aligned to business prioritiesProvide governance and assurance across multiple transformation initiativesDevelop target state architectures, roadmaps, and transition plansPartner with senior stakeholders to influence technology direction and investment decisionsEnsure alignment across business, data, applications, and infrastructureIdentify opportunities to simplify and optimise the existing technology estateSupport programme delivery through architectural guidance and decision-makingEmbed proportionate and pragmatic architecture standards and practicesKey Experience RequiredProven experience operating as an Enterprise Architect within complex organisationsStrong track record aligning technology strategy with business outcomesExperience working across multiple architecture domainsAbility to influence and engage senior stakeholders, including C-suiteExperience in large-scale transformation or modernisation programmesFamiliarity with architecture frameworks (e.g.
TOGAF), applied in a practical mannerStrong commercial awareness and ability to link technology decisions to valueDesirableExperience in operationally complex or multi-service organisationsExposure to organisations with a mix of physical operations and digital platformsExperience supporting major change, integration, or optimisation initiativesAwareness of data-led and platform-driven transformation approachesTPBN1_UKTJ
