We're currently recruiting an ambitious Chef to help us create exceptional food experiences for Defence on a full-time basis contracted to 37 hours per week. As a Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food that brightens our clients' and customers' days, within the market-leading food service company in the UK. Key Responsibilities
1. Preparing delicious, high-quality food that delights our clients and customers
2. Overseeing and implementing menu changes
3. Identifying opportunities to improve our food services
4. Listening and acting on customer feedback to improve our services
5. Supporting the creation of new menus and food concepts
6. Representing Defence and maintaining a positive brand image
7. Monitoring inventories and maintaining hygiene standards
8. Ensuring compliance with Food Handling, Hygiene, and Health and Safety regulations
Ideal Candidate
1. Passionate about great-tasting food and customer service
2. Hold a City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent
3. Experience supervising a team
4. Experience in a similar Chef role
5. Food Hygiene certification
6. Flexible approach to working
