We are looking for a quality-focused individual to lead passive fire protection (PFP) package management and delivery on our Hinkley Point C project in Bridgwater, Somerset. As part of the PFP team, you will be responsible for helping to ensure passive fire protection is correctly installed in accordance with design information. PFP is a critical aspect of fire safety in buildings, and Laing O'Rourke have invested heavily in developing an industry-leading approach to design and specification.

Responsibilities
* Delivery of PFP in accordance with project programme
* Management of the Fire Stopping Inspection and test plan (ITP)
* Manages the handover of MEP works from Crown House Technologies to the fire stopping sub-contractor.
* Manages the handover of completed works from the fire stopping sub-contractor to the build team.
* Produces lookaheads for works.
* Identifies installation problems on site including deviations from design and flags to the wider fire team as necessary.
* Carries out quality assurance inspections in line with Laing O'Rourke QA protocols.
* Carry out benchmarking and first-of-type best practices
* Uses Fieldview to monitor works on site, check details are installed correctly, and records are completed and closed out to LOR standards.
* Reviews subcontractor E-docs (or other Health & Safety file platform) uploads and ensures information is accurate.
What experience are we looking for?
* An eye for detail and a sharp focus on quality.
* A minimum 2 years' experience working in Passive Fire Protection.
* NVQ level 2 passive fire protection
* Supervisory experience
* Sub-contractor management experience
